Tips & Variations

  • Use mini silicone molds for perfectly sized servings and easy removal.
  • Swap almond butter for peanut or cashew butter depending on your preference.
  • Add a handful of chopped nuts or seeds to the oat mixture for extra crunch.
  • For a sweeter date filling, stir in a teaspoon of maple syrup or agave before spreading.

Storage

Store the oat date cups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. They are best enjoyed chilled but can be left at room temperature for up to a few hours. Reheat briefly in the oven if you prefer a warm snack, but avoid microwaving to maintain texture.

FAQs

Can I use fresh dates for the filling?

Yes, fresh soft dates work well. If they are drier, soak them in warm water for 10-15 minutes before cooking to help create a smooth paste.
