  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1½ cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cavatappi pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, half & half, Dijon mustard, and chopped parsley. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked shredded chicken, diced ham, and cooked pasta to the sauce mixture. Stir gently until everything is evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble the Casserole: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Bake: Place the casserole in the oven and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden on top.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley, if desired.
