Fruits & Vegetables

  • 1.5 cups fresh pineapple, finely diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, ribs and seeds removed (optional), finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped

Seasonings

  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Dice Ingredients: Finely dice the pineapple, red and green bell peppers, jalapeño pepper (if using), red onion, and cilantro. Adjust the jalapeño quantity or leave out seeds/ribs to control spice level.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, gently mix all the diced ingredients together with lime juice and salt until well combined.
  3. Chill and Meld Flavors: Refrigerate the salsa for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and intensify before serving.

Notes

  • Omit jalapeños completely for a mild, sweet salsa.
  • Use fresh pineapple for the best sweetness and texture.
  • Adjust lime juice and salt to your taste preferences.
  • The salsa keeps well refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • Great served with chips, tacos, grilled chicken, or fish.
