Liquids and Liqueurs
- 1 1/2 ounces creme de cocoa
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces cream of coconut
- 1 ounce caramel sauce
- 1 ounce fudge sauce
Garnishes
- Chocolate drizzle for garnishing glass
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Toasted coconut (optional)
- Samoa cookies for serving (optional)
- Prepare Glasses: Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of your martini glasses and place them in the freezer to chill and let the chocolate set.
- Combine Ingredients: In a shaker cup, combine creme de cocoa, vodka, cream of coconut, caramel sauce, and fudge sauce. Use a whisk, immersion blender, or frother to thoroughly mix and break down the sauces for an even, smooth mixture.
- Add Ice and Shake: Add ice to the shaker, seal it, and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker feels cold to the touch, ensuring the drink is well chilled and slightly frothy.
- Serve: Strain the cocktail into the prepared chilled martini glasses with chocolate drizzle.
- Garnish: Top with whipped cream and sprinkle toasted coconut over the top if desired. Add a Samoa cookie to the rim for a crunchy garnish and an extra nod to the iconic Girl Scout cookie.
Notes
- Use cream of coconut, not coconut cream, for the right sweet and syrupy texture in this cocktail.
- To toast coconut, spread shredded coconut on a baking sheet and toast in a 350°F oven for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
- For an extra indulgent treat, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to the glass to make a boozy float.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the cocktail at its best chilled and fresh.
- Mid-level vodka such as Tito’s works well and balances the flavors without overpowering them.
