Sweet Roll Dough

Filling

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy. Add the melted butter, egg, flour, and salt; mix to form a soft dough. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.
  2. Roll Out the Dough: After rising, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 12×8 inches.
  3. Add the Filling: Evenly sprinkle the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips over the dough. Be sure to leave a small border around the edges.
  4. Form the Rolls: Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 8 equal pieces and place them cut-side up in a greased baking pan.
  5. Second Rise: Cover the rolls loosely and let them rise again for about 30 minutes until puffy.
  6. Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the chocolate and marshmallows are melted and gooey.
