A delightful no-bake dessert combining the classic flavors of strawberry shortcake in easy-to-make pudding cups. Crunchy Oreo and freeze-dried strawberry crumbs are layered with creamy cheesecake pudding and fresh strawberries, topped with whipped cream for a perfect sweet treat in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust and Topping

  • 20 Golden Vanilla Oreos
  • ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Strawberry slices for garnish (optional)

Pudding Mixture

  • 2 (3.4 oz) packages Instant Jell-o Cheesecake Pudding
  • 4 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, diced

Serving

  • 810 4-ounce plastic cups or jars

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo and Freeze-Dried Strawberries: Pulse the Golden Vanilla Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until they form fine crumbs. If you don’t have a processor, place them in a large ziplock bag and crush using a rolling pin until finely ground.
  2. Prepare the Cheesecake Pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the Instant Jell-o Cheesecake Pudding mix and cold whole milk until smooth and combined. Gently fold in the diced fresh strawberries and let the mixture set for about 5 minutes.
  3. Assemble the Pudding Cups: Spoon a layer of the Oreo-strawberry crumbs into the bottom of each plastic cup or jar. Add a layer of the cheesecake pudding, then add another layer of crumbs followed by more pudding. Place the assembled cups in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.
  4. Add Whipped Cream and Garnish: Just before serving, top each cup with a tablespoon of softened whipped cream. Sprinkle additional Oreo-strawberry crumbs over the top and garnish with a fresh strawberry slice if desired.

Notes

  • Freeze-dried strawberries add an intense strawberry flavor and crunch but can be substituted with finely chopped dried strawberries if unavailable.
  • The pudding sets quickly, so keep it chilled for the best texture.
  • Use mild-flavored Golden Oreos to complement the strawberry cheesecake flavors.
  • For make-ahead convenience, assemble up to a day in advance and store covered in the refrigerator.
  • To reduce sweetness, consider using reduced-sugar vanilla pudding mix.
